Thursday, 22 March 2018. A little bit of Eltham in the stories of Edith Nesbit, writer, socialist and resident at Well Hall House. The old Woolwich Road, 1909. Now I have set myself the task of reading the stories of Edith Nesbit and looking for Eltham. She lived in Well Hall House from the late 19th century into the 20th and those in the know reckon they can spot the references. Well Hall House, date unknown.
